Food diary: this is what TRHOAMS-Tamara eats in a day

The Housewife maintains a healthy diet.

In The Real Housewives of Amsterdam, Tamara Elbaz is the newest addition, and her introduction has made quite an impression. The new Housewife is known for her spicy opinions, but also for her special eating habits. Grazia therefore questioned her about what she eats in a week.

Monday

“To get enough vitamins and nutrients, I have started every day for the past year and a half with a glass of water plus vitamin and mineral supplements from my own brand Mr. and Mrs. Green. Since then I have been much more energetic and no longer suffer from complaints such as acne and hair loss. This Monday I will have breakfast with coconut yogurt with apple, pecan nuts, macadamia, raisins, and a cup of coffee. The rest of the day I drink water and herbal tea. This winter I am in Marbella with my son Alexander, an appointment I have with his father who lives here. I have a nice apartment and enjoy working from home. In between, I enjoy my own green juice containing 27 types of fruit and vegetables and collagen powder. I have lunch with two gluten-free sandwiches with chicken fillet, fresh herbs and lactose-free mayonnaise. Snack on cappuccino with organic coconut milk, because I have known for years that I am lactose intolerant. Tonight I’ll cook myself. Not my favorite hobby, but important for healthy cooking, also for Alexander. On the menu: roast turkey fillet, puree of sweet potato, carrot, pea and asparagus.”

Tuesday

“After my regular start of the day with supplements, water and coffee, I have breakfast with coconut yogurt, apple, strawberries, pecan nuts, macadamia, raisins. After lunch with two gluten-free goat cheese sandwiches, a portion of olives and coffee, Alexander and I take a long walk through pleasant Marbella. I’m not really an athlete, I prefer to walk regularly. In between I drink my green juice. Once home I don’t feel like cooking so I eat the leftover vegetable puree plus three fried eggs.”

Wednesday

“Two gluten-free sandwiches with farmer’s butter and almond sauce for breakfast. In between I enjoy my coconut milk coffee with two pieces of dark chocolate. I prefer milk and white, but pure is healthier. Over the past year, I often made unhealthy choices due to all the work pressure and dinners. Now that things are calmer, I live a healthier life. Around three o’clock I have lunch on the beach with my son: hummus with gluten-free bread, olives, green salad and half a carrot cake for dessert. Once home I suffer from a migraine, skip dinner and go to bed. I used to lie in bed with a migraine for days during my period. Fortunately, since I started taking supplements and living a healthier lifestyle, I can function normally.”

Thursday

“For breakfast I eat banana with pecan nuts, flax seeds and raisins. Today is a busy working day full of new projects. I have lunch with two gluten-free sandwiches with goat cheese and olives. As a snack, a cappuccino with coconut milk with two pieces of dark chocolate and collagen. Have a nice dinner in the evening and enjoy squid rings, steamed vegetables, almond cream with sardines and a green salad. For ‘toe’ I watch The Real Housewives of Amsterdam at home: great to work on. We are so different and therefore controversial. Friends also find it hilarious. Only my mother thought it was scripted at first, but now she sees that I am really myself.”

Friday

“Once a week I fast in the morning to give my digestion and body time to clear away waste. Not to lose weight, because I am very slim. So this morning I only drink water and around twelve o’clock I eat two scrambled eggs, a whole avocado, a gluten-free sandwich, and, like every day, I take my supplements. Snack on coconut milk capu with collagen. In the evening I make fried chicken, some olives and sweet potato-broccoli puree. I have seen, traveled and been on so much of the world that I love relaxing with my child. On the days that he is with his father, I go out with friends here or in Amsterdam.”

Saturday

“My weekend breakfast doesn’t differ much from weekday breakfast: a banana with pecan nuts, linseed and raisins. Snack on green juice and two gluten-free sandwiches with turkey, avocado, cucumber and pickle for lunch. In the afternoon I go to the playground with my son. After my coconut milk cappuccino we go shopping. In the evening I enjoy roast chicken at home with asparagus, endive and parsnip puree. Alexander is very easy with meat and fish, but unfortunately not with fruit and vegetables. That’s why I steam and puree everything. After dinner we drink a cup of herbal tea together, I don’t drink alcohol.”

Sunday

“Relaxed Sunday morning breakfast with coconut yogurt, apple, fresh strawberries, pecan nuts, macadamia and raisins. My green juice as a regular snack and then a delicious lunch with Alexander on the beach: fried tuna with avocado and some roast chicken and sweet potato fries from my son. After a wonderful beach afternoon, I simply end the weekend at home with two gluten-free sandwiches with smoked beef, two boiled eggs and a green salad.”
