Eloise van Oranje opens up about unpleasant experience on the train

The Countinfluencer calls on women to protect each other.

The Countinfluencer broaches the subject of street harassment on her TikTok account. Eloise also talks about an unpleasant incident that she experienced on the train in this area a year and a half ago.

Sexual assault

“I was assaulted on the train about a year and a half ago,” Eloise begins her story. “Luckily I stood up for myself and razed him to the ground. Not physically but just with words,” she continues. She also emphasizes in her TikTok video that the incident is not something to laugh about as situations like this happen every day. For this reason, the countess calls for women to stand up for each other when another woman is harassed. Good job, Eloise!

Audience Award Women of the Year Awards

The fact that Eloise van Oranje opens up about a situation like this proves once again that she fully deserves the Audience Award of the Woman of the Year Awards. The Countinfluencer, together with her mother Princess Laurentien, was praised for her commitment to a good cause. Their nomination stated: “The two use their accessibility to work for good causes and do this in an accessible way. Laurentien is committed to low literacy in the Netherlands and is working hard towards a better future for many with her Reading and Writing Foundation. Eloise tackles very different, but equally important topics. On her Instagram account, mental health among young people is discussed among more than 400,000 followers.”

Pop up store

But in addition to all of the above, Eloise also proves to be a true entrepreneur. For example, together with partner Thomas Latcham, she has set up her own company called My Lima Lima, with which they raise money for charities by selling luxury vintage items. By setting up this company, Elo proves once again that she believes it is important to work for a better world.

The first charity organizations that can count on the support of the countess are, for example, Kids Rights and the Everyday People Foundation. A good start, although Eloise and Thomas ultimately strive to commit themselves to even greater goals, which stand up for the equality of all kinds of groups in society.
