Demi Jones was able to take something positive out of a bad time. The UK Love Island celebrity was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the beginning of 2021. After several operations and various intensive treatments, she has now been cancer-free for around two years. Her battle with the disease was tough, but it made her stronger and more grateful in many ways – especially her body’s whiteness Demi especially appreciated now!
The 25-year-old will soon be in front of the camera for “Love Island: All Stars” – the first time since her diagnosis. “I’m so grateful to be back. It’s been four years and people are going to see a different side of me because I’m so much stronger as a person,” the beauty emphasizes, adding: “[Der Krebs] “It’s definitely changed me as a person and I’ve become much more self-confident.” Her body is now also different: “Of course I’m not petite, I’m not a supermodel.” But she hopes that by taking part she can be a role model for other girls.
Until a few months ago I had to Demi to the hospital every four weeks for a check-up. At her last visit, the doctors gave her the all-clear – her monthly clinic visits have therefore come to an end. “I’ve survived it and am on the other side. I feel so ready to conquer the world again,” she said happily in an interview with the medium.
