Caren Miosga (54) still misses the “Tagesthemen”! For 16 years she gave the news program a face as an integral part of the team. Their last, emotional edition was broadcast in October. The television presenter will replace Anne Will (57) from next week and host her own talk show on ARD on Sunday evenings. Now told Carenas she experiences the big change in her life!
The “daily topic phantom pain” is still noticeable, she reports to the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung. But the journalist sees the positive: “Even if it doesn’t feel like it at the moment, but in fact I have more time, especially in the evenings.” And what would like Caren start with your newfound free time? “I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family in the evenings or doing something completely crazy – like going to the theater,” laughs the mother of two.
She looks forward to her new task with “joyful excitement and great respect.” Live political talk is something completely different. “The way it happens is how it is seen,” explains the moderator and adds: “It is more sophisticated and at the same time great because it remains unadulterated.”
