Constantijn and Laurentien visit Eloise in New York

City trip with the royal fam!

While she is living her student life in New York, a visit from her parents doesn’t hurt either. Countess Eloise has only been on an internship in the city that never sleeps for a month and is already having her parents visit. She lovingly shares the city she now calls home with her parents…and her followers on Instagram!

Adventure

It is no surprise that Eloise started looking outside the Netherlands for an internship. We know her as someone who doesn’t shy away from new challenges. From publishing a children’s book to opening a clothing store, nothing is too crazy for our countess. She also studies at Hotelschool The Hague. When she had to look for an internship, she did not take the easy route. The countess took on the adventure and shares her new student life with her followers.

Tourist attraction

Eloise previously indicated that she enjoyed being able to walk down the street unrecognizable. She also shows on her social media that she is not just sitting in her small student palace. She previously shared her hotspots in the city and promised to give her followers an update on new tips. And now the list of tips is only growing!

She has had several Dutch people visit recently. Together with her friends Robbert Rodenburg and Daan Hoogervorst, from the podcast Monday Klaagdag, she visited tourist attractions such as various museums, but a walk through Central Park was also a must. Besides playing tourist, decadent food has not disappeared from the countess’ life. They visited the luxurious Zuma restaurant. “Unfortunately a 7 out of 10, very cool atmosphere but the food not really worth the price,” she writes on her Instagram with a wink. She has remained so nice and normal.

Family visit

The royal family also visits Eloise in her beloved city. Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien visited their daughter to explore the city together. Through her Instagram account, Eloise takes her followers out for a day to show what the family does together. “I got myself completely ready,” she begins the video. She shows off her outfit of the day from a roof terrace with a stunning view. Princess Laurentien also poses cheerfully for the camera with a cheeky pose. Mothers also seem to be completely ready for the day!

First they visit a museum. “My parents are in New York now, so of course we have to go to museums now,” says Eloise. Here, mother and daughter have some fun together, when Eloise jokingly points out sketches of models that look like her parents. Does Lau also agree with this? Well…

“My mother went back to the hotel and my father and I went for a walk,” she continues. They walk together through the streets of New York and score a scoop of ice cream along the way. “Afterwards we had a very nice father-daughter evening,” she says while showing her outfit. Changing into their evening clothes, father and daughter visit a cocktail bar later in the evening. Elo is audibly impressed when Vader shows off his cocktail with gold garnish. Nice glamour!

“Did so many fun things,” she says at the end of her video. She concludes with some new tips: “Whitney museum 100% recommend, when the weather is nice, walking around the West Village is one of my favorites, eating at Mokyo oh my god, those noodles and ribs. All in all a great day.” Sounds good, nun? We can’t wait for more tips from our royal travel guide!
