Buy or Demolish viewers feel sorry for teenage daughter: “poor daughter gets a very small cubicle”

It seems like every week viewers disagree with the renovation in Buy or Demolish. This week we see Remco, Marein and their four children, who want a home with more storage and living space. They then find a new home, but one bedroom is still missing. After a renovation, two large bedrooms were created, where the young sons can sleep. Although viewers actually find it quite sad that the eldest daughter now has to live in the smallest room. Why?

Remco and Marein in Buy or Demolish

In Buy or Demolish we meet Remco and Marein in the fourth episode. Together with their four children they live in Zoetermeer, in a house where Remco used to live with his ex. As a result, it is quite outdated and not actually made for such a large family. In addition, Marein simply dreams of a new, own place with her husband, where they can create their own history.

As usual, the couple is asked: do they want to buy a house or are they going to demolish their old house? To answer this question, they go house hunting with Alex van Keulen and his real estate team. In the meantime, architect Britta van Egmond and her team are making a new design of their old house.

Renovation

However, the design for their old house ultimately turns out to be unnecessary. Remco and Marein find a suitable home quite quickly during the house hunt. They then make an offer and are later surprised with very good news from presenter Caroline Tensen. The offer has been accepted! However, the question still remains: will they take the new house or will they demolish their old house? Well, it will be a renovation, but it will not be a renovation of the old house. Remco and Marein will take the new home, which they will renovate for 20,000 euros. That is indeed necessary. So they miss one bedroom anyway.

So Britta starts working with the well-known red spray can again. Subsequently, the stairs will be renovated for more storage space and the attic room will be split in two. This is then made into two rooms. The two bedrooms are intended for Remco and Marein’s two young sons. Although the viewers of Buy or Demolish actually disagree with this decision.

“Harry Potter cupboard”

On social media channel Her bedroom is a lot smaller compared to the other bedrooms. The viewers would have done it differently. They feel sorry for the teenage daughter. For example, someone responded: “Why that teenager in the broom cupboard? While those two toddlers have spacious rooms.” Another viewer compares Amber’s teenage room to Harry Potter’s room. Fortunately, Amber has a little more space and atmosphere in her bedroom:
