After the Sussexes stepped down from their royal duties, they found a new home for themselves and their children Archie (4) and Lilibet (2) in Montecito, California. But Harry and Meghan are said to want to sell their luxury property – allegedly because they are concerned about their safety and privacy. But that’s not the only reason. Selling their estate could make Harry and Meghan a lot of money!
In an interview with Mirror, real estate expert Jonathan Rolande makes it clear that now would be the perfect time for Harry and his little family to sell the house. “One reason why Harry and Meghan might move is that they want to benefit from the supposed increase in value of their property,” said Jonathan. He believes the value of the villa has increased by more than €11.6 million since they moved in.
Harry and Meghan’s current home has, among other things, nine bedrooms, a gym and a tennis court – but that doesn’t seem to be the only reason why potential buyers are willing to shell out a lot. “Not only is the house stunning, but it also has the ‘wow factor’ as it once belonged to Harry and Meghan. For many, this will be a major selling point and could increase the value of the house,” the expert adds.
