In the current season of Married At First Sight, the experts do their extra best to make matches successful. Dirk and Anneke are the first match in Married At First Sight to officially take off their wedding rings. Things go well at first during the wedding day, but they soon turn out to be a mismatch. Expert Eveline is somewhat concerned about this, because the situation is not yet exactly clear to both parties. They notice this in a private conversation with only Dirk. In it, Eveline asks “whether there could still be love”. Dirk responds with: “There were butterflies.” Although these were crushed by Anneke during the Married At First Sight adventure, they were indeed there. That is why Eveline warns that Dirk must also listen carefully to “what he senses in the other person’s feelings”.
