The end is not yet in sight, but now that there are 600 outfits in Máxima’s digital wardrobe, it is time for an interim party.
To celebrate the milestone, I put five outfits in the spotlight. First of all, the most viewed. You might think that now the inauguration dress will be mentioned, or the mailbag jacket. But no, the most viewed item of clothing in Máxima’s digital closet is a relatively unknown evening dress. This is a strapless design by Donna Karan. Máxima has only worn it once so far: during a concert of the Royal Sophia’s Association in the Efteling, May 2014.

In the digital wardrobe you can give an outfit stars. 0 stars means a serious insufficient, 5 stars means excellent. The outfit that received the most votes was the white afternoon gown that Máxima wore during the British coronation.

The star of the closet, or the outfit with the most stars, Máxima wore during the wedding of the Luxembourgish hereditary Grand Duke. Let’s face it: it’s a picture, isn’t it?

The outfit most recently added is a special one. During the opening of Hermitage Amsterdam, Máxima wore a fluffy, bright purple coat. I’m very curious to see how many stars this look will get!

The category that has the most outfits is dresses. 214 pieces now.

And I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet, but since the beginning of 2024, Princess Amalia has also had a digital wardrobe. There are still many empty hangers, but just like her mother, it is a work in progress.
