Next year the music competition for composers, lyricists and songwriters will take place in Malmö, Sweden. But before that happens, Germany still has the big preliminary decision in Berlin. And now it is known who is moderating it!
Das Erste has announced its plans for the German preliminary round. Barbara Schöneberger (49) will host the almost two-hour show again on February 16th. The presenter will be given a great honor: she will choose the act that will represent Germany in the final of the event on May 11, 2024 Eurovision Song Contest represents. The live show will be broadcast from Berlin at 10:00 p.m.
In contrast to Germany, other countries have already selected their acts. For Great Britain, the founder of Years & Years, Olly Alexander (33), at the start. The Netherlands have chosen the newcomer and “Friesenjung” star Joost Klein (26) to compete.
