Have you noticed it too? We have been seeing Queen Máxima wearing old(er) clothing a lot lately. She is certainly not alone in this. Queen Sonja also had a wonderful time sniffing around her walk-in closet.
Earlier this month, the President of Thailand paid a state visit to Norway. At the state banquet, Queen Sonja wore a bright pink gala dress. Did you know that this dress is already 30 years old? I really don’t see it. The Norwegian queen rewore the dress in 1991, 2000 and now, 24 years later, it is coming back into the picture.
We know this bright yellow dress from the wedding of Prince Carl Philip and Sofia in 2015. The dress was already at least 17 years old. Apparently he is comfortable, because the count for this dress now stands at 9.
We also saw him in June 2022, during Ingrid-Alexandra’s 18th birthday.
And recently a Balmain dress from the ’90s also surfaced. Timelessly chic!
