June Shannon (44) won! A few weeks ago it was announced that her daughter Anna Cardwell (✝29) had died. Honey Boo Boo’s sister (18) had cancer and now leaves behind her husband Eldridge and two daughters. The older of the two, Kaitlyn, has lived with her grandmother since her mother died June. Her sister Kylee grew up with her father, but he also fought for custody of his elder. Now a decision has been made.
Court documents obtained by Radar Online reveal that the grieving grandma has been granted custody of Kaitlyn. A bailiff is due on December 22nd June located her and served her with the documents. Just a few days later, the decision was finally made in favor of the grandmother.
As an insider told OK! reported, should June campaigned for therapy for their granddaughters. “Kaitlyn was very into Annas Fighting cancer by making sure her mother took her medication and supporting her throughout the process. So there’s a lot to process,” said the source. The eight-year-old in particular is suffering greatly from the loss of her mother: “It was more difficult for Kylee, the death of her mother [aufgrund ihres Alters] to understand.”
