Since the national team player was ten years old, he has been part of the most successful German football club, FC Bayern Munich. The professional athlete’s contract was actually only supposed to run until next year. But now it has been announced: Thomas extended until 2025!
As Spiegel reports, the football club is said to have officially announced the good news. Thomas is considered a real legend. In 684 competitive games he contributed 237 goals and 261 assists for the Bayern team. He also won the championship twelve times with the team, the DFB Cup six times and the Champions League twice. “I’m happy that my journey at FC Bayern is continuing,” reveals the 34-year-old.
Thomas is one of the best footballers Germany has to offer.
