They tried. On Friday it was announced that Ingrid Steeger (76) had died. The actress struggled with health problems – she had to be hospitalized before her death. During her lifetime, the “Klimbim” actress had a turbulent love life: two of her marriages failed, as did many of her relationships. After her death, a previously private detail became public: Ingrid and Michael Holm (80) used to be a couple.
The pop singer revealed this to Bild: “It probably wouldn’t have been known to this day that we were together if an acquaintance hadn’t spilled the beans.” Michael talked about the past romance with Ingrid and explained: “We met in 1977 and were together for a total of eight months. As we know, there were no cell phones back then and therefore – because we were both traveling a lot for work – we couldn’t talk on the phone often.”
But the relationship between the two German stars failed. Michaels have family Ingrid gladly seen by his side. “My father would have liked us to get married. If it had happened, I probably wouldn’t have said no,” the 80-year-old said. But “as is well known, things turned out differently,” concluded Michael his little review.
