Today is Boxing Day and that means we will be spending time with our family or friends again. You will probably have a nice meal together, have a drink and maybe give each other gifts. Christmas is also the perfect time to get closer to each other, but how do you do that? We show you a number of connecting activities that you can do together with your family or friends.
Ask each other deep questions
Do you want more connection with your family or friends? Then ask each other deep questions. Sometimes it’s difficult to just ask a deep question because you really have to break the ice. There are several (card) games that contain these types of questions to give you a helping hand. These questions often open a deep conversation, bringing you closer to others. How nice!
Playing games
Speaking of card games, playing other games is also a very bonding activity. By playing games, you experience a lot of fun together. That is of course a very nice feeling during the Christmas holidays. While playing games you create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which brings you closer to each other and creates a connection with each other.
Cooking together
What could be more fun than standing in the kitchen together and finally eating it together? Come up with a tasty dish together or let everyone cook their own meal. Turn on some music and cook these delicious dishes. This way you ensure extra connection with each other before and during the Christmas holidays.
Reminisce
Christmas is also a time to tell each other stories. By telling each other stories about the past and reminiscing, you come closer to each other. Maybe you have a special memory that the other person had forgotten. Or the other way around, you discover a memory from someone else that is valuable to them.
