Zwoyals celebrate Nobel Prizes with glamor and tiaras

An old-fashioned glamorous evening for the Swedish royals.

Yesterday the Nobel Prizes were awarded in Stockholm. An occasion where the Zwoyals are well represented, and where there is a lot of glitz and glamor involved. Including tiaras!

Prices and glamour

An annual Nobel Prize ceremony has been organized in Sweden since 1901. These are prizes for achievements in the fields of physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and peace. It is an occasion that the Zwoyals obviously use as an opportunity to put their best glamor foot forward, and this year it was a success again. Queen Silvia and Princesses Victoria and Sofia all appeared in enchanting looks.

Queen Silvia

The Queen of Sweden made her appearance in a pink dress from the brand Georg + Arend. On her head was the Nine-Prong Tiara. This is also called the Queen Sophia Tiara and has a long history. According to the royal court, the headpiece was made sometime around 1860 for Princess Sophia of Nassau, after she married Prince Oscar.

Princess Sofia

Sofia showed up at the awards ceremony in what we call an understatement of a little black dress. The princess wore a black ANDIATA dress for the occasion and complemented the look with the necessary jewelry. She again wore her wedding tiara, and no fewer than two Swarovski items: a choker and a necklace from the Mesmara collection. All in all, a look with enough glamour, we can say.

Princess Victoria

However, who really took the literal crown yesterday, fashion-wise, was Princess Victoria. She appeared in an enchanting purple dress from Camilla Thulin, and finished her look with the Amethyst Parure Tiara. A bit dramatic, but of course you won’t hear us complain about that. The princess was a sight to behold.

All in all, it was another old-fashioned, glamorous evening for the Zwoyals. On to the next!
