Yesterday, Prince William resumed his royal duties after about four weeks at home with his wife Kate and the children. During his visit to the Surplus to Supper charity, staff had the opportunity to get to know the Prince of Wales on a personal level. And what could be more fun to ask about the kids? The little prince is crazy about cricket. A love for sports runs through the royal veins, so to speak. The family is a big fan of rugby, football and tennis, and it was recently announced that Prince Harry will make a series about professional polo, his absolute passion.
In recent years the family has been present at many major sporting events. The children then follow along, and thus attend the world’s largest championships from an early age. For example, the two eldest members George and Charlotte attended the Commonwealth Games in 2022, and they have already experienced Wimbledon in person. What lucky children! George has been playing rugby together with Louis for a while. And they are having a great time there, Princess Kate said.

Prince William made the sweet revelation about his son during a working visit to the Surplus to Supper charity in Surrey. As the first day back to work since the bad news about his wife, it must have been a strange day for the prince. Fortunately, he could count on a lot of support from the community.
The prince was visibly moved when volunteer Rachel Candappa of Surplus to Supper presented him with two cards on behalf of the organization, as a heartfelt encouragement and token of sympathy. “Thank you very much, that’s very kind,” was his response. The volunteer urged him to take care of his wife, to which Prince William naturally replied: “I will.”
Despite the difficult times the family is going through, beautiful moments together are cherished. Soon little Prince Louis will blow out six candles. Hopefully the family can enjoy a wonderful birthday, and perhaps we will also see the royal sports fanatic himself on the field when he is a bit older.
