The productions are tailor-made for the Sussexes.
Big news for the Sussexes! Last night, production company Archewell announced that Harry and Meghan will make two new series for Netflix.

After the wild success of their Netflix documentary, things became quite quiet around the Sussexes again. They saw their deal with Spotify go up in smoke, and the two were mainly in the spotlight because of lawsuits and potentially ‘life-threatening’ situations with the paparazzi.
But last summer there was good news! Then the two bought the film rights to the book Meet Me at the Lake with their company Archewell. And now they announce two nice collaborations again; a project that is close to their hearts for both!
Formats
The first series will be curated by Meghan, Archewell reports, and “will celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertainment and friendship.” Last month she launched a brand new lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard. She did this with an Instagram account and her own web page. Her new series fits right in that vein.
Series two will take viewers into the world of professional polo, as we can gather from the statement – in other words: totally Harry’s thing. He has of course been an avid equestrian enthusiast for many years.
Both series are currently still in the early stages of the production process. So we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out what the new productions will be called and when we can expect them on Netflix. We are already very curious!
Meet me at the lake
For the time being, we can first prepare for the Netflix film adaptation of the book Meet Me at the Lake, to which the couple bought the film rights last August. The book revolves around thirty-somethings Will and Fern and the stormy romance that turns both their lives upside down. A great plot for an evening of swooning in front of the TV, of course, but it has not escaped the attention of royalty watchers that the story has some striking parallels with the Sussexes themselves. Exciting!
