From custom Dior to vintage Chanel: these are our red carpet favorites.
This week the annual Festival de Cannes started again in the French coastal town. Of course, a lot of celebs and well-known faces from the film world showed up in their chicest outfits. Now that we’ve completed the first week, it’s time to take a look back at our favorite looks!
Cannes
We previously wrote about the grand opening gala of the Cannes Film Festival. We saw the stars go all out for this prestigious occasion. Glitter, feathers, voluminous dresses and very expensive jewelry – there was a lot of beauty on the red carpet. Extra fun: the Dutch Romee Strijd also made an impression in a pink dress covered with feathers.
Looks
Anyway, it’s been a few days now. And with the festival’s packed programme, there have been quite a few red carpet moments! The stars appeared in full costume at the premieres of Mad Max: Furiosa, Megalopolis and Kinds of Kindness, among others. From stately Armani looks to lovely Chanel outfits, there was a lot of fun to indulge your fashion-loving heart.

By the way, it wasn’t just the ladies who showed themselves on the red carpet in artistic couture pieces. Although many male actors keep it safe with a simple suit, actors Barry Keoghan and Alton Mason went all out with their outfits.

And with so many celebrities in such a small number of square kilometers, there is of course plenty of entertainment beyond the red carpet. We wouldn’t want to deprive you of these looks from Nathalie Emmanuel (again in Chanel) and Hunter Schafer (in Vivienne Westwood).

Busy schedule
With all this splendor and splendor, the grand festival is barely half over. Until May 25, the crème de la crème of Hollywood and surrounding areas will stay in the French coastal town. Who knows: might some Grimaldis also appear on the red carpet in the coming days? With so much glam, Caroline or Charlotte would undoubtedly feel completely at home. Fingers crossed!
