After what felt like an eternity of waiting, today we can finally see the second half of season three of Bridgerton. We will update you completely on the first part of the season and the new episodes, so that you can start Bridgerton completely up to date today.
Season three, part one
In the first part of season three, we saw how the romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) blossomed after Colin helped her find a husband. Penelope thinks it’s time for her to find a husband and gives up her long-cherished love for Colin. Finding a husband is not that easy, because Penelope is not very good at flirting. Fortunately, Colin can help her with this and assist her in her search for a husband.
While Penelope has given up her feelings for Colin, Colin’s feelings for Penelope blossom. When Lord Debling – a suitor for Penelope – is about to propose to Penelope, Colin throws a spanner in the works. Penelope then flees from the ball after the marriage proposal is ruined, but Colin pursues her and manages to convince Pen to let him get into her carriage. What starts as an argument between the two ends in Colin confessing his love for Penelope and a steamy scene in the carriage. The first part of the season closes with the engagement between Colin and Penelope.
The second part
As of today, the time has finally come. We get to see Colin and Penelope’s romance continue to blossom, but we also find out if Penelope’s secret identity as Lady Whistledown comes to Colin’s attention.
If we are to believe the books, Colin discovers Penelope’s secret, but the question is how and when. Does Eloise tell her old friend’s secret to her brother, or is it Penelope herself who confesses it? And it remains to be seen whether the couple will survive this shocking confession…Exciting!
