“I get a lump in my throat again when I see it again,” said the Gooische Moeder.
Recently Bo Wilkes has given us a number of sneak peaks of her fairytale wedding in Santorini, and we can’t get enough of it! Luckily, the Real Gooische Moeder treated us to some extra images of this magical day yesterday.
Wedding
After months of preparation, it was finally time for Bo and her great love Paul in May. They tied the knot on the sun-drenched island of Santorini. “No words needed, just yes 🤍”, Bo wrote on Instagram after the wedding. Earlier we saw the bride radiant in a beautiful dress with her brand new husband Paul at her side. What a handsome couple! Their three children Boyd (8), Julie (6) and Loulou (4) also looked gorgeous on the big day.
Highlight
“Today is already the last episode of Echte Gooische Moeders. For me of course the episode that means the most to me because we look back on our wedding again 🤍✨”, Bo writes on Instagram today. “I get a lump in my throat again when I watch it again and wow it was so magical and cool. I would do it all over again”, says the Gooische mother. “Apart from the birth of our most beautiful gifts, it is by far the most beautiful day of our lives!”
As the icing on the cake, Bo shares a number of new photos of her dream wedding. On them we see, among other things, how colored fireworks shoot into the sky, a toast moment with the other Gooische mothers and beautiful photos of the ceremony. What a fairy tale!

Laughter and a tear
Bo also wants to put her BABS in the spotlight, because that was her own aunt! “I want to thank her very much for the beautiful speech she gave. It was a story with (a lot of) laughter and also a tear”, Bo looks back. “There is no one who could have delivered it so tastefully and amusingly! It made our marriage complete and very personal.” In addition, her aunt had a special gift in store for the couple. “She also wrote the lyrics of the kids’ song. Wow, I can recommend this to anyone who would like to give someone a personal, moving and most valuable gift.”
