Svenja Holtmann has had bad days. Til Schweiger’s ex (60) was only able to welcome a child into the world for the third time in August of this year: she had little Louie Jim with her partner Sönke Rosenkranz. The youngest is already the third son in the group: she had previously had Mika and Carlo. A routine visit to the doctor suddenly turned out to be an absolute nightmare: Svenja’s baby was fighting for his life!
“And suddenly you sit there helpless and your whole life passes you by,” reports the influencer on Instagram with disturbing words. She had taken her three sons to the doctor when he diagnosed the youngest with the RS virus. He immediately called the ambulance. “Two minutes later, the paramedic suddenly became very hectic and shouted to the driver to accelerate and that he needed an emergency doctor immediately. The oxygen saturation had dropped rapidly and it was now a matter of minutes,” remembers Svenja. However, they made it to the hospital in time and Louie was wired up.
The little one has now recovered. “Today, on day six, we were finally allowed to go home again because he made it 24 hours without additional oxygen. I am infinitely grateful that everything went well and that we escaped without the scare,” emphasizes Svenja in her post. This shocking moment only showed her even more how precious life is.
