Count wrong answers correctly
Does your teammate just not come up with the right answer but does he or she shout all kinds of things? Then just shout ‘YES!’ and pretend the answer is right, even if it’s not even close. After all, you are the only one who can read the card. The other team will not find out about this and you will still score an extra point.
Make up your own mind about what is on the card
If no one sees what is on your card, you can use this to your advantage in another way. Do you keep getting terms or names that you know nothing about? Then just come up with something yourself. Then think of something that you know your teammate also knows about and the points will flow in.
Throw 2 times
Have you rolled another 2 and the other team isn’t paying attention? Then quickly throw again. With a bit of luck, the die will now land on 1 or even 0. Be careful and roll as quietly as possible. The other party may not be paying attention, but they might hear it.
Pawns move
This game is often accompanied by a drink, and that is exactly what comes in handy for this trick. If the opponent is bickering about the previous round, that is the perfect time to move your pawn forward one (or two) steps. And if they have already had a few drinks, you can also try to move their pawn back a step. They are probably so busy with the tickets that no one notices.
