Here it is: the most important fashion blog of 2023. All year long we have voted for Máxima’s most beautiful outfit of the month and now it is finally time to vote for the winning outfit of 2023. Are you voting?
In January, a red dress by Natan won, with the turned-up collar flowing into a drapery. Every inch a queen.
In February, Máxima managed to surprise with a Ukrainian dress from Foberini.
In March, a trouser suit by Claes Iversen won.
In April the outfit won King’s Day. The colors green and white referred to the city where the festival was celebrated: Rotterdam.
In May there was a clear winner: Máxima’s white dress and hat for the coronation of King Charles.
In the busy month of June, a soft pink evening dress by Jan Taminiau won.
In July, Máxima wore a sober dress during the commemoration of our country’s slavery past. The look came to number 1 in particular because of the symbolic hat, which referred to the Angisa (a Surinamese-Creole headscarf).
In August there was little choice and no poll. In September, the choice fell on an elegant midi dress from Natan, where the belt disappears into the dress on the right side.
In October you could appreciate a generous pinch of sequins from Natan.
In November the choice fell (of course) on Máxima’s dress by Iris van Herpen.
December’s winner comes from Natan again. A light blue blouse and skirt, worn during the Christmas Music Gala.
