Although we mainly know the eloquent Tamara Elbaz as one of the beautiful Housewives from The Real Housewives of Amsterdam, she now appears in a completely different television program. First Dates VIPS organized a real Valentine’s Day special in honor of the day of love.
Date with David
Tamara has been single for a year now and hasn’t had a single date since. She enters the First Dates restaurant, slightly tense. Her date is 41-year-old David. The initial tension immediately disappears when she sees that he looks nice. “I didn’t want to run away straight away, I was afraid of that,” she laughs. Moreover, David doesn’t know Tamara from TV, so he goes into the date completely blank.
Even before they sit down to dinner, Tamara makes it clear what she thinks. For example, she calls pizza ‘just dough with cheese’ and says that it is not for her. “I’m not simple, so I don’t like simple.” Fortunately, David can laugh at the fact that the housewife doesn’t mince her words. “I am very strong in my opinion. And you have to be able to handle that,” she warns him. Nevertheless, David seems interested.

During the dinner, Tamara and David discover that they have several similarities. They both find healthy living very important. They neither smoke nor drink. They have also both experienced a sad situation with their father. During the date they also gauge how things are going with the first impression. In any case, Tamara thinks her date is ‘not a loser’ and can appreciate his intelligence. David, in turn, calls her a stylish woman who appears confident.

However, things go wrong when it comes to birthdays. Tamara discovers that David is a Capricorn. And that turns out not to be good, because her ex is also a Capricorn. “I have not had good experiences with that,” she says. Oh no!
Ultimately, there is the moment of truth: do the two want to see each other again? Although she thinks David is a nice man, a second date is not an option. “I would never say anything negative about him,” Tamara said. But unfortunately the necessary ‘spark’ is not forthcoming.
