How beautiful she looked!
Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa announced some very nice news earlier this year. The couple is expecting their first child! During King Abdullah’s jubilee celebration we were able to admire Rajwa’s beautiful baby bump. The Jordanian royal family also shared a few beautiful photos of the pregnant princess.
Silver jubilee
On June 9 there was reason for great celebration in Jordan. King Abdullah had been at the head of the Jordanian kingdom for exactly 25 years on that date. And of course that had to be celebrated! The Jordanian court chose to treat us to a beautiful photo of the royal couple and a ceremony and parade took place on the occasion of Abdullah’s 25th anniversary.
Of course, Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Rajwa could not be missing. The couple made a glamorous appearance, with Rajwa dressed in a beautiful red custom-made dress. Her growing baby bump was clearly visible.
First public appearance
It was the first time that the crown prince couple had gone public since they announced the happy news that they are expecting their first child this summer. The princess had asked Saudi designer Honayda Serafi to design her dress for this special occasion. Meanwhile, she also paid tribute to Jordan with the design. The colors of the Jordanian flag could be seen in the geometric embroidery. In addition, silver threads were used, of course as a nod to the silver jubilee of her father-in-law, King Abdullah.

The ceremony took place just days after the Jordanian court shared a series of snaps of the pregnant princess. “The first official photos of the pregnancy of Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein, wife of the Crown Prince of Jordan,” read the caption of the Instagram post on the official account of the Jordanian royal family.

The Jordanian court shared the official photos of the pregnant princess exactly one year after Rajwa and Hussein’s wedding. The couple has spoken about marriage before. For example, Hussein said that his ‘life changed for the better after marriage’. “It is a great blessing that I have found my life partner,” said Hussein. “Marriage has helped me to relax a little more. Rajwa is calm, easy-going and funny.”
