Nice for inspiration!
Every year it can be difficult to come up with an original Mother’s Day gift. You don’t want to arrive empty-handed, but you also don’t want to be standing on your doorstep with yet another bouquet of flowers. Recognizable? For inspiration, editor-in-chief Hilde shares some great Mother’s Day gift tips.
Brunch
Fixed every Mother’s Day: brunch with the whole family. Every year in a different place and this year we are going to the winter garden in the Krasnapolski. They organize a special brunch a few times a year (including Easter, Mother’s Day, the start of summer and Christmas) with all kinds of delicacies. Flowers
A Mother’s Day is of course complete with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Bloomon has fantastic bunches, but this Mother’s Day also comes with a vase specially designed by Romy Boomsma. With a colorful, painted pattern, this will brighten up your home twice!
Nail polish
It is our tradition that Mimi also receives a gift on Mother’s Day. This year nail polish is high on her list and these Mini Manicure sets from Pink Gellac are unique! Moment for myself
I find time for myself by running around. This year I’m treating myself to new running shoes from hoka.com. A special edition, because they have a collab with one of my favorite stores Free People! The color alone makes me happy, so this will be a great run!
Dream dress
What should I wear to brunch? A dress of course. This year this one from Sezane is on my wishlist. Every week I have to restrain myself from putting their entire collection in my basket, but I think I’ll opt for this camel-colored one (€260) with ecru embroidery. Beautiful with simple sandals and a wicker basket.
