Already a beauty then!
In The Real Housewives of Amsterdam, Tamara Elbaz always looked the part. However, she has always been open about the fact that she has had the necessary procedures done to her face. That’s why we wonder: what did she actually look like before?
New Housewife
The first season of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam was already a treat, but the ladies have clearly outdone themselves in season 2. That’s no doubt partly thanks to Tamara Elbaz, who took Sheila Bergeik’s place. “Of course I already knew most of the ladies and I was already very good friends with some of them,” Tamara said earlier about her participation. “So basically I was like: I’m now making television with my friends.”
Spicy confrontations
Although Tamara says she is not really an argumentative person by nature, we can say that she has created quite a bit of drama in the program. In particular, fellow Housewives Susanna Klibansky and Djamila Celina got into trouble with her quite often in the show. Being invited or not to a party, a lack of breakfast or a comment about someone’s clothing: it all led to quite a few heated confrontations.

Fortunately, the Housewives all seemed to agree at the reunion that they had put together a nice program. And, it’s also been good for something else. Through The Real Housewives of Amsterdam, Tamara and Maria have become good friends again after years of arguing. A nice bonus!
Instagram snaps
On her Instagram, Tamara naturally shares the necessary glamorous photos of her jet-set life, but every now and then some snapshots from the old days also appear. For example, she recently shared a photo of herself at the age of 13.

“The major interview published today in Het Noord Hollands Dagblad (check image 2 in this post) brought back memories of the time when I lived in Volendam as a young girl,” she writes in the post. The Housewife has positive, but also negative memories of that period. “As a foreign girl, who had a very different appearance and very different dreams than most of her fellow villagers, it was not always easy,” she admits.
“It wasn’t all roses and moonshine for a long time, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way,” writes Tamara. “My motto every day: if life ever makes you stumble, just do a somersault,” she concludes her post. And so it is!

We had to look twice, but it’s really her! After seeing these snapshots, we can say that Tamara has always been a natural beauty. Maybe a little less natural now, but still incredibly beautiful!
