Like every year, Willem-Alexander and Máxima organized a gala dinner for members of the Diplomatic Corps last night. On such an occasion, a stylish outfit is of course indispensable, and Máx already has more than enough of them in her closet. She chose a dress that immediately looked very familiar to us!

Once a year, the Oranges invite all members of the Diplomatic Corps to a banquet. The group sat down at the table in the Royal Palace in Amsterdam to share a diplomatic conversation and discuss the necessary important themes. This year the dinner focused on international business. Wim-Lex invited not only ambassadors and consuls, but also representatives from this international business community. Previous themes of the dinner have included science, public administration, art and culture and international law.

Elegant and refined: we are huge fans of this beautiful dress. Especially because she completes it perfectly at the banquet with the jewels of the ruby red Peacock Tail parure.
This well-known jewelry set was made in 1897 for Wilhelmina, who would be honored the following year. The jewelry was recently worn by Amalia, during her debut at the state banquet with Spanish King Felipe and Queen Letizia. She wore the Peacock Tail parure in combination with a beautiful dark blue dress with a transparent cape. And it looked so good on her. Like Mother like daughter!
