“I am proud of the incredible woman you have become.”
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, celebrated her daughter Eugenie’s birthday. She shared a loving post on Instagram on Sunday in which she put her daughter’s birthday in the spotlight.
Loving message
The photo shows Sarah putting an arm around her daughter and kissing her on the side of her head. She wrote a loving message to her youngest daughter with the photo: “Happy birthday to my wonderful daughter @princesseugenie. I am proud of the incredible woman you have become. You continue to amaze me every day with your hard work, your grace, your kindness and the care you show to others.” She concludes with: “You will always be my crazy, sweet, smart and thoughtful girl. I love you, Eugenie. Happy birthday.”

Cancer
In January, Sarah announced that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer. This is just months after she had a mastectomy to treat an early form of breast cancer. Sarah then said that she saw it positively due to the support of her family.
Fergia already indicated that she was grateful for the support of both her daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice. “My two beautiful daughters are my cheerleaders, my dedicated champions and my soulmates,” she told PEOPLE last November. She added: “They have been as supportive as they can be, as they always are.”
Activism
Earlier this month, Sarah also spoke highly of her daughters. Both princesses are actively committed to their latest venture, leading Global Citizen NOW: Melbourne, which is committed to ending extreme poverty. She said: “We must leave this earth knowing that our grandchildren’s grandchildren can live here. My daughters are incredible, brilliant, passionate activists and they continually inspire me.”
