Finally, the new flame of Andrew Parker Bowles, the ex-husband of the current queen, Camilla, has admitted that the two are indeed a set. And she has a very familiar face!
Rollercoaster
Camilla and her Charles’ relationship has of course been an absolute rollercoaster. They fell head over heels for each other, couldn’t get royal approval for their romance, each married someone else…but continued to secretly long for each other.
Many years have now passed and C&C finally has their happily ever after as king and queen. But what’s up with Camilla’s ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles? He would have found love with a very familiar face!
The one
After Andrew divorced Cam in 1995, it did not take long for him to find love again: in 1996 he tied the knot again with Rosemary Pitman. They even attended the wedding of Camilla and Charles together. Aww!
Unfortunately, this relationship came to a sad end in 2010, when Rosemary died of cancer. Her funeral and memorial service were attended by Princess Anne and Camilla.
Love at third sight
Society magazine Tatler reports that the now 84-year-old Andrew is said to be completely happy in love again. He might even have fallen for a true queen again – the Queen of Mean, that is.
Yes: it appears that Andrew has been wining and dining with British presenter Anne Robinson. She owes her nickname as Queen of Mean to her role in the program The Weakest Link, which we of course know in our own country as The Weakest Link.
The first rumors started in December 2023, but now Anne has also confirmed the news herself. Of course this was entirely in Anne’s own hard style. In an interview with Saga magazine, she responded dryly to the question of whether she is dating the queen’s ex-husband: “Yes. Point. Mind your own business.” Uh, okay then!
Sweet couple
According to an insider, who reportedly gave Tatler a tip of the veil, the two have been dating for more than a year. They were reportedly linked by a mutual acquaintance, and the couple have had many dinner parties since then.
Anne herself remains tight-lipped about her romance. She does reveal that it was not easy to date again in her seventies. “I was sidelined for so long. And I don’t drink! If you don’t drink you’re not that reckless, are you?” Well, cocktails or mocktails – the two are more than happy with love.
