Sad news for Charles Spencer and his wife Karen Gordon. This weekend, the brother of the late Princess Diana revealed that his marriage has broken down for the third time. After thirteen years of marriage, Charles and Karen divorce.

On Saturday, Charles confirmed the news to The Mail on Sunday. “It’s immensely sad,” Charles said of the break. “I focus on my children and grandchildren and wish Karen all the luck in the future.”
A few days before the split announcement, Karen shared some other sad news. Her father has passed away. “My father passed away today after a long battle with Alzheimer’s,” she shared on social media. “I was happy to be there to support my mother and brother, who did most of the heavy lifting of caring for him here on Vancouver Island.
Charles and Karen married in 2011 at the Althorp estate, where Diana is also buried. The couple had one daughter, Lady Charlotte Diana Spencer, in 2012. Charles has six children from previous marriages.
