She usually keeps her clothing sets together, but Máxima enjoys mixing & matching hats. In this blog you will always see one hat with multiple outfits.
Let’s start with a recent example. Last Thursday, Máxima wore a felt slouch hat from Philip Treacy, which has now been worn with three different outfits.

During the state visit to South Africa, a well-known orange hat came into view. The three outfits worn vary widely. So there is something to choose from.

The black hat with which this blog started is somewhat reminiscent of Máxima’s slouch hat by Fabienne Delvigne. It has now also been seen with three different outfits.

The small cocktail hat that Máxima ordered from Irene Bussemaker also feels completely at home in this blog.

And last but not least one of my favorites. It is a white capeline with black accents by Fabienne Delvigne. Máxima already wore it in November 2002, during the wedding of Emily Bremers (Willem-Alexander’s ex-girlfriend) and Roderick van Wijck. If you ask me, the hat is a timeless model that can still serve perfectly today. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a rematch!
