The tall young royal already towers over his parents.
The flag can be raised at the Danish court! Danish Crown Prince Christian recently completed his high school diploma, and the royal gathered his entire family for this memorable moment. This resulted in a funny image, as the prince towered well above his parents, who were already quite small.
Passed
Prince Christian has recently focused entirely on his final exams and – like many other young people his age – can finally leave high school behind him. Yesterday was the moment to celebrate this joyful fact. The 18-year-old prince appeared side by side with his parents, King Frederick and Queen Mary, at school to undergo a Danish tradition for graduates.
The young royal was spotted wearing a traditional Danish graduation hat. This accessory symbolizes the completion of his high school years. In Denmark, it is customary for family members to place this hat on the graduate’s head after the final final exam. On Instagram, the Danish court posted the following images of the successful Prince Christian and his visibly very proud parents:

Long
Christian towers well above his already small family in the photos. For comparison: King Frederik himself is 1.80 meters tall. The prince looked the part in a casual yet stylish outfit, combining a button-up shirt with white trousers and sneakers. And as befits a true royal family, the looks of Christian’s relatives were perfectly matched to those of the prince. This created a beautiful, cohesive family portrait. This will definitely get a nice place in the family album!
Celebrate
Although no concrete plans have been made yet, Prince Christian is expected to start further education at university after the summer. But before he is expected back in school, it is still time for a number of traditional parties that are simply part of leaving high school in the Scandinavian country.
One of the traditions involves graduates taking to the streets in a festive parade. They dance, party, play loud music and enjoy food and drinks on trucks that stop at the parents’ homes of those present. And of course we wouldn’t be Glamial if we didn’t immediately wonder whether a truck would also stop at the Amalienborg Slot… Anyway: dump tillykke, Your Highness!
