You have had some difficult years! Michael Bublé (48) and his family had to cope with a severe blow of fate in 2016: Noah, the singer’s then three-year-old son, was diagnosed with liver cancer. Noah’s family was always by his side during difficult times. He has been in remission since 2017. This means that the cancer has not come back yet. But Michael’s life has changed forever due to his son’s terrible diagnosis!
In the “The Diary of a CEO” podcast, the musician says that his offspring’s illness shook his world: “It was a punch in the stomach. I will never be carefree again in my life. And that’s a good thing. ” This experience made it clear to him that it was a privilege for him to exist and that pain, fear and suffering were all part of life. The “Home” interpreter then reset his priorities. “I remember closing my eyes and saying to myself, ‘When we get out of here, I’m going to have a different life, a better life,'” he recalls.
In a previous interview with The Big Issue, the dad-of-four mentioned that the illness has changed his outlook on life. “If I could give my younger self any advice at any point, through all the good and bad times in my career and personal life, I would say: ‘Be more present,'” he explained at the time.
