At the end of the morning, Queen Máxima visits the Schoenenkwartier in Waalwijk. High time to take a closer look at her own collection.
The counter of Máxima’s shoe collection has long since passed 300. Of course, some of it is already outdated or worn out. But all in all, Máxima has a lot to choose from when she has to go out again. To give you an impression: in the photo below you see Amalia in front of the queen’s shoe racks. Almost as messy as mine 😉
Because it would be a very long blog if I were to discuss them one by one, I have highlighted four categories. The most beautiful, the ugliest, the highest and the favorite of the moment.
The prettiest
I’m not really into frills on my feet. Before you know it, everyone is looking at your subjects instead of your face. Yet it is also nice if some creativity is incorporated into the design. With that in mind, I chose Máxima’s black pumps from Aquazzura. So refined, so elegant. Love it!
Máxima’s rhinestone pumps from Gianvito Rossi are number 2 for me.
The ugliest
In addition to many toppers, there are also some misses on Máxima’s shoe racks. How she ever managed to purchase these black ‘clogs’ from Natan is a mystery to me. The hodgepodge of straps optically divides her silhouette into far too many planes, making her legs appear sturdier than they are. Quickly put it in Max’s pocket!
The highest
After more than twenty years, Máxima walks around effortlessly in the highest heels. The very highest, from Aquazzura, can be seen below. The heel is no less than 13 centimeters high.
The favorite
The current favorite is Gianvito Rossi’s court shoe. With a pointed toe, thin heel and a range of colors, they can be worn anytime, anywhere. Máxima has 34 variants in her wardrobe.
And the key question now is of course: which pumps will Máxima wear soon?
