The Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet reports that the siblings Count Nikolai (24) and Count Felix (21) had not received an invitation to their uncle’s coronation. The two are the eldest sons of Frederik’s younger brother Prince Joachim (54) and come from his first marriage to Alexandra von Frederiksborg. The palace has not yet commented on the rumors at this time.
The relationship between the brothers and their grandmother Margrethe is said to be tense. Because the 83-year-old stripped her eldest grandchildren of their prince title in autumn 2022.
