We increasingly see royals committed to mental health, and Máxima may take the cake. Yesterday the queen visited a rural community, where she talked to young people about mental health.
MIND Us
Queen Máxima yesterday visited the municipality of Hollands Kroon for MIND Us, the foundation that works for young people in the field of mental health, of which Máxima is honorary chairman. The foundation aims to ensure that young people with psychological problems receive the right attention. As someone who lost her sister to suicide due to depression, and is the mother of three beautiful daughters who are growing up in a time when speaking about mental issues is becoming increasingly important, Máxima is of course very concerned with everything that has to do with mental well-being.
The queen therefore talked to the youth and discussed, among other things, what they encounter in their community. Among other things, the lack of public transport and entertainment options and the long travel distances were raised. This makes it difficult for young people in a rural community to meet each other and organize physical help. Her Majesty also discussed their approach afterwards with professionals.
Blazing blue
Máxima opted for an accessible outfit. This time no glamorous fashion statements or stately appearances. Quite simply a beautiful look to kick off the summer with: her light blue trouser suit from Max Mara, which she previously wore last month when she met the President of Nigeria.
This time, Máxima styled the beautiful suit, consisting of a blazer and high-waisted trousers, with a cream-colored top, nude pumps and a beige clutch. She also wore some beautiful jewelry to complete the look: a large ring with green stone, a gold bracelet with multi-colored stones, her gold Cartier watch and a striking pair of crystal earrings.
In short: Máx was completely on trend again in her power suit, because it is currently back like never before!
