For the UN visit to Colombia, Máxima had her green deux-pieces altered by fashion house Natan.
The Queen is in Colombia because of her work for financial inclusion. Colombia has made good developments in the field of financial inclusion. 60 percent of adults now have a (bank) account. This was only 39 percent in 2011. Despite the increase, there are large differences nationally. Disadvantaged groups include small businesses, small farms, people living in remote areas and women. As an advocate of the UN, Queen Máxima will emphasize that everyone should be able to have access to financial services.
