The sisters clearly have a good bond!
Yesterday the Belgian royals had a big party. Princess Eléonore blew out sixteen candles. For the observant viewer, a special detail could be seen in the photos that the royal family shared. We have seen the necklace that the birthday lady wears before. Did you also recognize the piece of jewelry?
Matching necklaces
The observant viewers of the Royal Fashion Police Instagram page previously spotted the necklace with the zodiac sign on Princess Elisabeth. The princess wore the gold-colored jewelry last year during a working visit to Egypt with her mother Queen Mathilde. On the chain hung a beautiful charm with her zodiac sign, Scorpio. Now the same necklace has also been spotted around Princess Eléonore’s neck – with her own zodiac sign Aries, of course. So it looks like the sisters are wearing matching jewelry. Not surprising, of course, if we consider the girls’ close bond. Isn’t that unique?
Maje
The beautiful necklace that the princesses wear is from the French brand Maje. The brand was founded in Paris in 1998 and has now gathered a loyal group of fans on an international scale. By the way, it is not only the brand’s jewelry that is popular with the Belgian royal family.
Elisabeth in particular has regularly dressed in Maje’s clothing since she was younger. Coincidentally, our Dutch princesses are also fans of this stylish brand. We have previously shared a list of Princess Alexia’s favorite brands, and Maje was of course also included.

By the way, our own Dutch princesses have all been spotted wearing the same piece of jewelry. The sisters all wore three during a photo shoot at the exhibition The Century of Juliana in the Nieuwe Kerk a charm necklace by the Greek designer Marianna Lemos. Will we soon see the Dutch sisters with matching necklaces from Maje?
