René Weller (✝69) always watches over his wife Maria (71)! The boxing champion died in August after a long, serious illness. He had battled dementia for years. His death caused a wave of consternation, but his widow in particular mourned the athlete publicly. Her husband remains omnipresent in her everyday life: Maria continually receives signals from the beyond Rene!
“He keeps giving me signs. […] Every now and then, he doesn’t give me much, but the way he was… such strange and defiant signs,” she reveals to RTL. For example, Maria’s cell phone suddenly broke with a loud bang while she was making a call – Rene I always hated talking on the phone. In addition, a picture of him fell out of the closet when she complained about his death. “I’m getting ready upstairs in the bathroom and I’m like, ‘What is that?’ We have spotlights on the ceiling and suddenly they started flickering. And there was a fly, I don’t even know where it came from,” the 70-year-old continues.
But that’s not all! Rene I always wanted a young boxer who was able to follow in his footsteps. Maria then happened to meet the talented junior boxing world champion Luca Cinqueoncie and his father at his coffin: “Then Luca stood at the coffin and put his hand on him and that’s when I knew: ‘Hey Rene, did you call him? There he is!’
