Monica Geuze will soon appear on television again as presenter of The Bachelor. But of course she has been making waves for years as a DJ, vlogger, presenter and star of her own podcast. Now we were curious: what did Monica actually look like in the past?
Presenter
Monica Geuze is a popular face and she is making waves both on TV and on social media. For example, she can be seen as a presenter of Temptation Island: Love or Leave, as well as The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
In conversation with RTL, Monica reveals what she likes so much about the The Bachelor and The Bachelorette series. “It is special that one person makes himself vulnerable, and even more so that twenty others do the same and – with cameras present – find out whether love can arise. Two people falling in love with each other, that’s just fun to watch.”
But such a public search for love itself? She doesn’t like that. “Would I ever participate myself? No, I don’t think that is the way for me to start a relationship,” she says. “I wouldn’t want to find out whether you like each other in public, but in private.”
Teenage time
From Instagram and YouTube to her presentation jobs on TV: Monica Geuze is now an indispensable part of your screen. And the lady worked hard for that! In her youth, she went to a Theaterhavo/vwo, where she met Ronnie Flex, among others. After this she started working for him as his regular DJ. Yes, you read that right: those two are going way back!
Hilariously enough, Monica even managed to find a snapshot of the talent show they participated in together. On the occasion of Ronnie’s birthday, she shared this photo via Instagram a few years ago.

Monica also sometimes shares snapshots on Instagram from even longer ago. And guess what? The brunette hasn’t changed a bit! From those sparkling eyes to cheerful smile: this is clearly Monica, right?

Maternity
In addition to all her hard work, Monica is also mother of the beautiful Zara-Lizzy Noé, the daughter she had with footballer Lars Veldwijk in 2018. Although the two are no longer together, Monica already revealed in her Instagram Stories that they get along fine as parents.
When asked by a follower whether co-parenting ‘got used to’ or ‘remained difficult’, Monica explained: “It really took time, but we have now built up a nice bond together as parents. And I really wish that for everyone, because it gives so much peace!”
