She’s not just a princess! As the granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II (✝96), Princess Beatrice (35) also works diligently as a working royal. Unlike her cousins Prince William (41) and Prince Harry (39), she is not in the public eye too much – because she is princess of York is ninth in line to the British throne. But even the die-hard royal fans probably didn’t know this: Beatrice has another title of nobility – and it wasn’t given to her by the Queen awarded!
The 35-year-old’s father-in-law revealed this to the Daily Mail: The reason for this is the wedding to his son Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (40), who is of Italian descent and a count – therefore Beatrice is also a countess, or also called “Contessa”. “Edoardo is the only male descendant to lead the family into the next generation, he is a count – his wife will automatically be a countess,” explains Edoardos Father, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi (72).
Although Beatrice as princess As is well known, there have been one or two embarrassing moments. As her mother Sarah Ferguson (64) reported in her podcast “Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah”, she traveled to New York for an important meeting – but Beatrice was not recognized there: “[Der Vorstand] had no idea! They were all talking in the boardroom and were happy that they Princess Beatrice meet. When she came in everyone said, ‘Coffee and tea, please. With sugar.’ So she went and poured everyone coffee and tea.” Beatrice was only recognized when she returned.
