There has been quite a bit of gossip going around about the singer recently. She was said to be addicted to drugs and not doing well. That turned out to be absolutely untrue. She was mainly busy with her new music and she focused on her private life. Karel says: “She gets a lot of negativity: her private life is under a magnifying glass, there is all kinds of gossip about who she has shared the sheets with, about drug use, and in fact she is exactly the opposite of what people say. And yet she does not close herself off from others.”
Lots of love
It is clear that Karel and Maan are hotel workers. Karel is not only crazy about Maan, but also about her family. “She gives ten times more love than me, or any other average person. Maybe she also feels the need to prove that she is not who people think she is, but it also runs very much in her family. Truly the sweetest family ever,” he says.
