Jaimie Vaes has never made a secret of the fact that she regularly visits the Botox doctor. In her latest column for Grazia, she reveals without further ado which cosmetic procedures she has undergone and which treatments she is now putting an end to.
‘Beauty starts with taking care of yourself’
Jaimie emphasizes that beauty starts with taking good care of yourself. “Eating healthy, eating my portions of fruit and vegetables, exercising a lot and drinking enough water,” she explains. In addition, Jaimie regularly undergoes beauty treatments for her body and face. “I go to connective tissue massage every week and spend a lot of time with infrared and light therapies for my skin condition.”
Pricks here and there
She admits that she ‘is not averse to a little injection here and there’. “Although I only use a little Botox and Profilio for my face. These are hyaluronic acid injections that give your skin a vitamin boost. I stopped using fillers a while ago, because I thought the extra volume gave me a plump face.”
Natural approach
Vaes acknowledges that she has sometimes gone too far with fillers. “For example, I no longer need the fillers in my lips that I used to have.” Nowadays, influencers prefer to opt for a more ‘natural approach’. “It doesn’t all have to be so obvious anymore.”
Jaimie Vaes’ buttocks
Now that Jaimie goes through life without injected lips, she still has quite a bit of filler in her buttocks. “Some people have nice, round buttocks, but unfortunately I don’t have that,” she explains. She has never made a secret of that. “I don’t want a big, vulgar butt, but if you’re not completely happy with something, I don’t mind giving nature a helping hand.”
