GTST actors Bertrie Wierenga and Dorian Bindels reveal gender of child

Bertrie Wierenga and Dorian Bindels came with some very nice news earlier this week. The GTST couple announced that they are expecting a child! They recently also revealed the gender of the little one in front of the camera of RTL Boulevard.

“🍼👼… OH MY GOD! We are going to be mom and dad🥹🙌🏻🥳… YIHAAAAA🤍,” Bertrie recently wrote in the post in which they announced that they were expecting. In both snapshots the two have their hands on Bertrie’s stomach. Bertrie and Dorian can’t miss a bit of humor either, as they are in the first photo with a pacifier in their mouth. Ha!

Sex

“We hesitated for a while whether we were going to reveal it,” the couple says in front of the camera of RTL Boulevard, before emphasizing once again how happy they are with the arrival of a little one.

“We are both very happy. We’ve wanted it for a while, so we talked about it from the beginning and agreed that it was something we wanted in our relationship,” Bertie said. “And then hope that it is given to you… So yes, you cannot make us happier.” Dorian adds: “I see it very much like a fairy tale. Just us.”

And it doesn’t stop there, because the couple still shares the gender of the little one. “We are very happy to announce that it will be a girl,” Bertrie reveals. “Daddy is having a daughter. How nice is that?!”, says the proud Dorian. Sweet!

GTST

Bertrie is expecting her first child, but will soon have a little experience with her role as a mother. Shanti, the character the actress plays in GTST, has just found out that she is pregnant. In this season’s summer cliffhanger, it is still unclear whether Richard or Rik will be the father of her child. And the reactions show that GTST fans are more than happy to respond to this.

“Check it out! So fortunately it is not from Richard van Nooten” and “Congratulations!!! Then it isn’t from Richard van Nooten after all 😂😂😂,” the comments say. “Plot twist in GTST. Daan Stern is the father of Shanti’s baby 😜,” someone responds. Ha! Daan Stern was played by Dorian – who really seems to be the father.
