Glamial’s Weekend Tips

Enjoy!

This week we had a little taste of spring between the showers, and that makes us happy! What also makes us happy? This fine selection of shopping, culinary and outing tips to provide your weekend with a good dose of glam!

Culinary and cultural enjoyment at Coulisse

On three Sunday afternoons this spring, the Amsterdam star restaurant Coulisse will be completely dedicated to the Street Art Sundays, where visitors can enjoy art and culture while enjoying a delicious street food meal and a drink. The first edition will take place on Sunday, February 25, for which the restaurant has joined forces with the artist Frankey, who regularly brightens up the Amsterdam street scene with playful art installations that borrow plenty of inspiration from pop culture.

There are only 100 places available for this unique afternoon – and afterwards you will also receive a unique work of art from the artist, which you cannot get anywhere else. You can reserve your spot here for the first edition of these Street Art Sundays. Would February 25 not suit you? No worries! The next editions are planned for March 24 and April 21 with other interesting artists.

Chic shopping at Chanel

Last week, iconic fashion house Chanel opened a brand new store in the heart of New York City. On the legendary Fifth Avenue you will now find a chic boutique where you will find Chanel’s most beautiful jewelry and watches spread over two floors.

As we expect from a leading designer label, a lot of care has of course also been paid to the appearance of the store. Architect Peter Marino took charge of the design of the store. For inspiration, we have looked closely at the iconic 31 Rue Cambon, and there are plenty of nods to the apartment of founder Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel.

In short: will you happen to be in the Big Apple soon? Then a visit to this brand new Chanel store should not be missed!

Self-care with Authentic Beauty Concept

The weekend is also the perfect time to take some time for yourself. Lighting candles, a good glass of wine, and a bath are of course ideal for this. The Sensorial Cream Scrub from Authentic Beauty Concept should not be missing. With this brand new 3-in-1 scrub for scalp, body and face you will enjoy a wonderful moment of peace.

As usual, high-quality, vegan ingredients have been chosen that are sustainably sourced and have a natural origin. From adaptogens and shea butter, to exfoliants such as apricot kernel, chia, and walnut shell particles. This carefully formulated formula is free of silicones, mineral oils, parabens and sulphates, and gently exfoliates. This helps restore the skin’s moisture balance and removes excess oils and impurities without irritation.

Viewing tips

When you’ve finished strolling and dining and have scrubbed yourself completely zen again, it’s time to settle down on the couch with a good movie or series. The golden tip this weekend is of course PATTY, the brand new Videoland series about Patty Brard.

The first episode can be seen on RTL 4 next Sunday at 10:20 PM, and on Videoland you can binge the series in one go from next Sunday.

Do you need an alternative dose of diva until Sunday? Then you’ve come to the right place at Prime Video. The documentary film This Is Me…Now: The Film by none other than Jennifer Lopez will be released there tomorrow.

Finally, a set of thrilling classics dropped on Netflix this week. For example, you can now enjoy Seven Years in Tibet and Footloose. Would you rather go for something lighter? Then you’re in the right place with the film Crossroads, in which Britney Spears played a leading role.

We’ll prepare the popcorn and practice our steps again on Luv’s entire discography – that’ll get us through our weekend!
