Get away from it all: Kate and Wills spend Easter in Norfolk

This means that the Waleses will not be present at the traditional Easter service in St. George’s Chapel.

After all the fuss, media attention and announcements, Princess Kate and Prince William had enough for a while. That is why the two and their offspring left for Anmer Hall in Norfolk, most likely to spend Easter at Sandringham House with George, Charlotte and Louis.

Not present during traditional Easter service

Kate and Wills were recently spotted in a helicopter close to Adelaide Cottage to fly towards Norfolk. The Welsh reportedly stay here until Easter to relax.

It is certain that rest at this time is good for the health of the princess. The break comes not very long after Kate announced in the media that she had been diagnosed with cancer. This automatically means that the Waleses will not be present at the traditional Easter service in St. George’s Chapel.

Full recovery

Although many people were hoping for a return of the princess during the Easter service, it is more than logical that the princess will not be present. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace announced the following on Friday: “The Princess will return to her official duties when cleared by her medical team. She is in good spirits and is focused on a full recovery.” And we also wish that for the princess!

Polite warning

Last Sunday, Kate and William thanked everyone for their messages of support after they shared the terrible news with the outside world. “They are deeply touched by the love and support of the public,” a palace spokesman said. “They also appreciate understanding their request for privacy at this time.” However, the major news channel BBC predicts that this will be the last news that the British royals will share about the situation surrounding Kate for the time being.

“This message is both a thank you and a polite warning: the couple says the public part of the diagnosis is now over and they want to be left alone.”
