It’s surprise season again! If you have drawn lots and need to make a surprise, it is sometimes difficult to figure out what to make next. That is sometimes difficult and of course varies enormously per person. Do you absolutely not know what to make for that one family member or friend? We got you.
Create a surprise
If you are making a surprise for a family member or friend this year, it is sometimes very difficult to think of what to make next. Think in advance about what that person likes, what this person’s hobbies are or something fun that person has experienced this year. This way you can connect well with your surprise. Do you want a more ‘general’ surprise for that person, without having to think too much? Then read on, because below we will show you some ideas that you can give as a surprise.
1. Apple pie
You don’t need much for this, just a round box, craft cardboard, glue, a knife and scissors. Cut the round box to cake height and wrap the craft paper around it. Also cut thin strips from the cardboard and place them diagonally on the top of the circle. Finished! You can also paint it brown for a realistic look.
2. Personalized
Are you not much of a crafter, but do you want to do something special? All you need is craft cardboard, a box cutter and a pencil. Wrap your gift in the craft cardboard, but do not seal it yet. Make sure the fold lines are clearly visible. Remove the cardboard again and start working on the top. Use a pencil to outline the letters of the name you are giving the gift to and cut them out, leaving an extra border underneath. Rewrap the gift and fold the cutout up.
3. Box of happiness
For this you need an empty box, a piece of foam, paint and small fake flowers. Paint the box first, and make sure the styrofoam fits in the box. Paint this too. Carefully poke the fake flowers into the bottom, also paint them if you want to give the flowers a different color. Add a letter or poem if desired, and include a number of small gifts among the flowers.
