A throwback to 2012!
Alexia nowadays shows up neatly dressed at important events. Whether she grabs the curling iron or puts her hair up neatly, she always looks great. But, do you remember when the princess rocked bangs in her younger years? We do, and we think it’s too cute not to share! We delve into the archives.
Quite some time ago
Huh, has it been almost 12 years since 2012? So yes! We notice how much time has passed when we look back at photos of the princesses, now serious students and pupils, then still very young. It was the time when the three A’s were always dressed the same by mother Máxima. And well, a different hairstyle helps to distinguish you a bit from your sisters.
Awh!
The then 7-year-old Princess Alexia wore diagonal bangs, slightly different from the standard cut of the three princesses (read: loose locks, sometimes a layer).
The pony quickly disappeared from view, but Princess Alexia continues to like variety. From super long moons in 2017…
…to shoulder-length and voluminous in 2018.
Nowadays the middle sister opts for lots of layers, with a little help from the curling iron.

Oh well, we have to admit that we think Alexia could really have any hairstyle. Still, we hope that she never exchanges her reddish locks for a different color. We are quite jealous of that!
